In the course of the registration of organic goods covered by Article 47 of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 (OCR), the following changes must be observed. This concerns live animals, products of animal origin and products of non-animal origin subject to increased control, as well as plants and plant products.

When registering for inspection of a shipment with a Common Health Entry Document (CED), the associated Certificate of Inspection (COI) must be manually linked in Box 9 in TRACES using "Add Certificate Reference". In the next step, the specification "Organic" has to be selected as "Commodity type" in box 31. A release of such organic consignments can only take place after all required controls have been completed.
