The extended transitional period for the use of handwritten certificates of inspection (COI) ends on 30.11.2022. As of 1.12.2022, all certificates of inspection (COI) must be signed by means of an electronic seal (eSeal) by the inspection body/inspection authority in the respective third country in accordance with Article 11 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2306/2021.
